KKL-JNF received extensive coverage in the world media during the
Carmel wildfire.
During
the days of the fire, we initiated contacts with the international
media.
On
Thursday, December 11, two days after the fire was brought under
control, a tour of the Carmel area was organized by Michal Marmari,
KKL-JNF foreign media adviser, for foreign journalists, with an
emphasis on the rehabilitation of the forests led by KKL-JNF staff.
Approximately 25 journalists took part in the tour, from numerous
countries – Germany, the Netherlands, the US, Canada, Australia,
China, and elsewhere. Bellow, some of their articles.
