Some of the Campaigns Launched by KKL-JNF Offices Worldwide
Stop and look
for ideas on how various countries present their fundraising campaigns.
JNF Australia
The Australian campaign focuses on "respite activities for families on the Gaza border" and "Field and Forest Education Centers host children from the south".
"JNF Australia has set out on an email campaign to donors on our data base. We have sent 2 emails to our NSW, VIC and WA data base consisting of over 10,000 email addresses asking them to donate to the emergency situation “Protective Edge”. The second letter was an update from the Mayor of Shaar Hanegev and the bottom of the email provides a link to an article in J-wire which is an online newspaper in Australia.
Our Education Shaliach, Shlomo Ben Haim is engaging the Jewish schools in a Hasbara campaign and requested their student committees participate in collection of donations via Blue Boxes for the “Protective Edge” campaign. He will be addressing the school assemblies and has asked the schools to have the children write/draw letters of support to the children of the south and will be collecting them and sending them to KKL for distribution asap.
We have a JNF Australia Facebook page that we constantly update."

"We have placed a full page ad in the Australian Jewish News is NSW and a half page ad in VIC"
KKL France
Mailing went out to some 120,000 KKL France subscribers for donations towards bomb shelters

In addition, KKL France accepted the suggestion, from their Desk in Jerusalem, to adopt the "Hosting Children of the South" project. Their campaign included jingles broadcast on radio stations (about 20 throughout the day) and announcements published in France's Jewish press.

The campaign received exposure in France's Jewish press (1, 2) in Paris, Marseille and other cities and in the French edition of the newspaper Hamodia.
JNF Holland
JNF Holland's campaign focuses on Bomb Shelters. They sent out a mailing to some 13,500 people listed in their data base.
KKL German
"… Our campaign focuses on a project for Kfar Aza; we present it as one of the Negev's "defensive shields". Additional focus is on the children of Kfar Aza, who deserve a "vacation" from the tension. The donations we collect will go towards the Entranceway Development project at Kfar Aza and Hosting Children from the South at KKL-JNF Field & Forest Centers in the Northern Region. We sent a brief letter to all our donors by mail. Most of the donors are older people (pensioners, who do not have Facebook or access to the Internet), so the main communication in Germany is by the postal service. In addition, we posted the appeal on Facebook, our website and in a newsletter as well as on Internet sites that write about Israel."

KKL Latin America
"It takes less than 15 seconds to take cover from danger!
In less time than that you can help children in the south through KKL.
Call us now"
JNF KKL Scotland
"Half page advertisements have appeared in all 4 editions of the Jewish Telegraph covering both Scotland & England. Over and above we are constantly bombarding everyone on our extensive database with regard to NES HARIM which is our current Project which has suddenly because of the situation in Gaza taken on very much more importance than ever before"
KKL Spain
"...A newsletter was sent to some 500 people in our data base. It was sent to all the communities and Jewish Federations, requesting that they publish it.. It also appears on Spain's facebook "

JNF USA
Jewish National Fund to Send Solidarity Mission to Israel During Time of Crisis (JNF USA has invited JNF Canada and JNF Australia to join their mission.)

JNF USA's campaign is reinforced with in-depth, background stories on their projects, which you can find on their site in the News section under "JNF Wire". These stories were also sent to the Jewish media in the US.

In addition, JNF USA sent press releases to Jewish media in the US and a letter from Russell F. Robinson, CEO, JNF: "JNF is on the Ground Every Day for Israel," to a few online sources in the US which was also published on Friday (July 25) as Russell's first blog entry on Times of Israel Op-Ed blog page, shared widely thereafter on social media.
