If the bicycle did not exist, KKL-JNF would probably have invented it.
KKL-JNF has put off-road biking on Israel's map and is the first organization in the world to have drawn up a national master plan for cycling trails. To date, KKL-JNF has created ~1,300 km of bike trails in its forests and open spaces that crisscross the width and breadth of the country and another ~234 km in urban areas, connecting neighborhoods and localities to forests and promoting the use of bicycles as an alternative mode of transportation. |
